From its humble beginnings as a one-room school started by a few families and a Christian educator in 1972, Cook Inlet Academy has grown steadily over the years.
Since its founding, CIA has operated under the educational philosophy of its founder, Charles Eugene Crapuchettes: to provide students with the best academic environment and a strong, faith-based education focusing on the relationships between students, parents, and teachers.
Today, CIA blends both the school’s founding philosophy and ideas with the most innovative modern teaching models to continue to emphasize academic excellence, spiritual development, and character strength in our students through both traditional and new school practices.
Cook Inlet Academics now owns 3 facilities on an 8.8-acre stretch of property and looks to the future for more exciting expansion opportunities to enrich the lives of its students.
We offer classes in grades Preschool-12 as well as many other extra-curricular activities such as after school and summer programs, music classes, sports, and language classes.
CIA maintains its academic excellence by frequent standardized testing and an ongoing accreditation from the Northwest Accreditation Commission and the Association of Christian Schools International.
